Melio provides an AI-powered meal planning platform that includes:

  • Nutrition tracking and progress monitoring

  • Shopping list generation and grocery integration

  • AI-powered nutrition coaching and recommendations

User Accounts and Responsibilities

To use our services, you must create an account and agree to the following responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms

Subscription and Payment Terms

Billing and Payment

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

AI-Generated Content

Meal plans, recipes, nutritional information, and all other content generated by our AI systems may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. AI-generated nutritional values are estimates based on third-party databases and algorithmic calculations. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content. Users are solely responsible for verifying all information before following any dietary plan or recipe.

No Professional Relationship

Use of our service does not create a dietitian-client, doctor-patient, nutritionist-client, or any other professional relationship. Our service is an informational tool only and is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.

Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and agree that dietary changes carry inherent health risks. You assume full and sole responsibility for all decisions made based on information provided by our service, including but not limited to meal plans, recipes, caloric calculations, and nutritional recommendations. You should consult with a qualified healthcare professional before making any significant dietary changes, especially if you have any medical conditions, allergies, or are taking medications.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Melio and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages whatsoever, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities

  • Service interruptions or technical failures

  • Third-party actions or content

  • Any damages exceeding the amount paid for our services

  • Health effects, allergic reactions, or any adverse outcomes resulting from following AI-generated meal plans or recipes

  • Inaccuracies in nutritional information, caloric calculations, or dietary recommendations

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR OUR SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Melio, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of our services; (b) any dietary decisions made based on our content; (c) your violation of these terms; (d) your violation of any third-party rights; or (e) any content you submit through our services.

Third-Party Data Sources

Our service utilizes third-party nutrition databases and data sources, including but not limited to USDA FoodData Central, to provide nutritional information. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data from these third-party sources. Third-party data is provided 'as is' and we assume no responsibility for errors or omissions in such data.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for any of the following reasons:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service

  • Fraudulent or illegal activity

  • Extended period of inactivity

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Warsaw, Poland.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
