An AI meal planner asks for your calorie target, dietary restrictions, and household size, then generates a 7-day plan with recipes, per-meal macros, and a grouped shopping list.
Melio's AI meal planner takes three inputs — your daily calorie and macro target, your diet (one of 17, including keto, vegan, paleo, GLP-1, and diabetes-friendly), and the people you cook for — and returns a 7-day plan with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Every recipe is matched against USDA FoodData Central per-100g nutrient values, so calories and macros are computed, not guessed. The shopping list aggregates ingredients across all meals and groups them by store section. Daily totals are validated against your profile; if a recipe drifts, the planner regenerates it before delivery.
